With this Spot robot accessory, you can increase the number of connections available by connecting a single device to your robot.
The Spot robot dog ’s built-in connector provides a number of standard connections you can use to develop Spot’s potential. But if you find you need a little extra, you’ll want to get your hands on the GXP package.
This GXP (general expansion payload) regulates the power of the Spot battery and distributes it through different voltage outputs to meet the exact needs of any accessories you want to connect.
Its 12/24V and 5V outputs allow you to easily connect other processors, sensors, computers, etc. to continue expanding your mobile robotics platform .
You will also find an RJ45 connector allowing you to use a Gigabit Ethernet connection and other communication signals such as the robot’s PPS source. You’ll then be able to synchronise a device’s clock to this signal for example.
