RS-Helios-32-5515 3D LiDAR Laser Range Finder
The new RS-Helios-32-5515 3D LiDAR laser range finder uses long-range detection and blind spot elimination to facilitate your robotic vehicle’s autonomous navigation.
RS-Helios-32-5515 LiDAR by RoboSense: blind spot elimination and superior resistance
This new 32-beam LiDAR offers a detection range of up to 150 metres under good reflectivity conditions. It also reduces blind spots to a maximum of 10 cm thanks to its rotating head, which moves both horizontally and vertically:
- A horizontal FoV of up to 360°
- A vertical FoV totalling 70°: 55° below the horizontal plane, 15° above
It offers a frame rate that is set at 10 or 20 Hz, with a rotation speed of 1200 rpm at 20 Hz. Data is transmitted via an Ethernet connection and provides various information on spatial coordinates, timestamps, etc.
Its laser protection class ensures that it’s completely harmless to the human eye. With an IP protection rating of 67, it’s also fully protected against dust and will remain watertight to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes.
