Ranger Mini: UGV with 4 movement modes

It can carries forward AgileX’s technical heritage of omni-directional UGVs, featuring a compact body and zero turning radius to achieve 360° static steering.

Ranger Mini has:

An all-metal body of robust industrial design
4 steering motors (100 W) + 4 variable speed driving motors (250 W)
4 movement modes: Spin, Traverse, Diagonal and Ackermann
IP54 protection rating, dust and waterproof

A robust, agile mobile robot

Ranger Mini combines the abilities of the SCOUT and HUNTER series. It’s a UGV that offers superb flexibility and performance, able to:

Overcome obstacles with 105 mm ground clearance
Climb 15° slopes (full load)
Carry heavy loads 75 kg
Operate in indoor and outdoor environments
Run for up to 7 to 8 hours thanks to its removable and high-performance 48V24AH battery
Travel 35 kilometres on just one hour's charge

A customisable, open-source robot

To improve its navigation and detection skills, the Ranger Mini robot has slide rails compatible with numerous sensors: lidar, IMU, control, routing, camera, etc. Users can communicate with the main control through the CAN bus protocol. AgileX also provides a comprehensive library of open-source content: ROS1, ROS2, Python and GAZEBO simulation.
